The task of thermal insulation refractory construction is to combine the thermal insulation material of the main layer, the reinforcing material and the surface layer material into the thermal insulation structure according to the design regulations. At present, the commonly used construction techniques of thermal insulation structures are as follows:

1. Assembled insulation. The materials of the main insulation layer and the outer protective layer are made of fixed plastic products. The on-site construction only needs to be in place and fixed according to the specifications. The insulation of the general special equipment mostly adopts the assembled insulation structure.

2. Insulation by binding method. Banding method insulation is to directly wrap the insulation board, tube shell, tube or arc-shaped block made of porous insulation materials or mineral fiber insulation materials on the equipment and pipes, and fix it with 1.2~2mm galvanized iron wire. Banding insulation is a widely used form of thermal insulation.

3. Insulation by filling method. Insulation by filling method is to directly fill loose mineral fiber materials or porous particulate materials around the equipment and pipes to a certain degree of density. Generally, the sealing and heat insulation of the boiler wall pipe, the detachable insulation structure of the valve flange and the expansion joint are all insulated by the filling method.

4. Insulation by smearing method. Adopting indefinite insulation materials (such as expanded perlite) to add binder and accelerator, according to a certain proportion of ingredients, add cement and mix evenly to become a plastic sludge, and apply to the insulation pipeline equipment. Smudge insulation is a traditional insulation structure and process, which is convenient for junction construction, filling and filling holes, equipment and pipelines to be repaired, and all irregular insulated objects.

5. Thermal insulation of spraying structure. The thermal insulation of the spray structure adopts special equipment to spray the organic foam thermal insulation material to the thermal insulation surface to form the thermal insulation structure of the spray.

6. Insulation by paste method. Pasting method heat preservation is to use adhesive to paste the insulation blanket on the surface of metal or ceramic to form an insulation structure. This method is more suitable for the construction of refractory fiber felt.

7. Metal reflective insulation. Metal reflective heat insulation is made of multi-layer heat shield made of stainless steel heat-resistant steel foil. The air gap of each layer of heat shield is about 1.5mm. It is mainly used to reduce radiation and convection heat insulation structure, suitable for vibration and high temperature conditions .
