1. In the construction of acid-resistant castables, it must be ensured that the power supply is not cut off and the construction is not interrupted. The construction of carbon steel equipment during the casting of carbon steel equipment indicates that sand blasting should be performed to remove rust. When pouring in cement concrete equipment, oil traces and dust on the surface of the equipment should be cleaned.

2. The acid-resistant cast structural template can be made of steel or hardwood. The template should have sufficient strength, good rigidity, no shape, no displacement, and no leakage. Steel formwork should be coated with release agent, and wood formwork should be coated with waterproof coating. The reusable template should be cleaned before painting.

3. The amount of water added to the casting material should be strictly controlled in accordance with the instructions for use, and should not exceed the limit. Under the premise of ensuring the construction performance, the amount of water should be less and less. The mixing container and tools must be clean and dry. The temperature of the construction site should be above 15°C, and a rainproof shed should be built during the rainy season. Inject the stirred material into the template and perform manual stirring or mechanical vibration. The filling depth is preferably 30 cm at a time.

4. If the above items are unqualified, they should be dealt with before use. Do not use expired materials. The cast formwork must be compact, accurate in size, and have sufficient rigidity and a height of 50 cm. Before construction, the surface of the template should be oiled, and then the plastic film should be lined on the surface of the template, and the joint part should be extended by 5-10 cm.

5. Castables must be used throughout the bag. The stirring castable is usually used up within 30 minutes. In a high-temperature and dry working environment, it is necessary to shorten this time. The initially condensed or even condensed castables must not be poured into the mold frame and must not be mixed with water.

6. The mixing time of the casting material should not be less than 5 minutes. Use a forced mixer during operation. When mixing, it is recommended to dry mix in advance, then add 80% water and stir, then slowly add the remaining water according to dryness and humidity, and continue to stir until an appropriate working consistency is obtained. Before mixing different castables, the mixer should be cleaned.

7. The acid-resistant casting material poured into the mold frame should be crushed with a vibrating rod immediately, the height of each layer should not exceed 300mm, and the vibration spacing should be about 250mm. Try to avoid touching the holder when shaking, and do not shake or tremble in the same position. After seeing the surface of the casting material, the vibrating rod should be slowly extracted to avoid separation and voids in the casting layer. After the casting is completed, the castable can no longer be compressed and impacted before solidification.
